I have a john deer lawn tractor 317 series I believe it is a 1984 model with a 17 horse kohler
engine 4-5 years ago i bought a 18 horse kohler to put on it i am just now putting it on i installed the oil filter adapter on it and now having trouble figureing ou how to wire it the old engine had two wires a red and green the new engine has 3 wires red green and black can you help me please
