: Yeah we live up in western WA and all we have ever cut was grass hay. "back in hte day" we used the old sickle bar but a few years ago we got a used NH disc mower. It is a lot better then the sickle bar. at the beggining of the saeason changing hte oil in the bar, there was too much metal, and so we ran it for a few fields and changed out the fluid, again, there is metal chunks in the oil. So pretty much we are looking at replaceing it. so here's my real questions-

: What is the difference between a swather conditioner and haybine? AND, can you run any of those in grass hay and do fine? Or is the disc the best way to go for grass? Anyways, yeah, I think the biggest thing i wonder is what the diffeence, if any, is between the 3, and what do they do other then cut hay? Increase drying time? ok, well, thanks.
